16-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Pro or Max - Standard Display - Space Black

Big step up from the 16" Intel-based MacBook Pro. Runs cool and fast, unlike the Intel-based MacBook Pro, which constantly needed to run its fan whenever it was connected to a second display. My only issue is the price -- I ordered mine in June 2026. While I was waiting for assembly and delivery, Apple raised the price on new orders. Expercom told me that they wouldn't deliver my order unless I paid the new price. They said that this was Apple policy, not theirs. I don't have any reason to believe that Expercom was lying about this. I know that Apple is somewhat hostile to their vendors. So I ended up paying a large additional charge to receive my MacBook Pro. I wonder whether this would have happened if I had placed my order directly with Apple. If you plan on ordering one, it might be worth checking.

Moving from Windows so it’s an adjustment - but this thing is REALLY powerful, integrates seamlessly with my AirPods, iPhone, and Mac Mini and it runs all day with battery to spare.
