Versatile mobility transport platform

The Gio Titan Premium comes shipped in a large, metal reinforced, cardboard box strapped to a shipping pallet. The unit is completely assembled save for the installation of the rear view mirrors and the rear carrier basket. My initial thought was that the use of lead acid batteries was a holdover from earlier tech design and would soon be replaced with Li-ion. Now I see the wisdom in having the weight of the 4 lead acid batteries down low to counteract the weight of the rider up on the seat. My 92 year old father-in-law is very happy with his scooter as it has given him back his freedom to come and go as he pleases. He was a little intimidated with the top speed of the machine until we convinced him that between the speed selector and his operation of the throttle he was fully in charge of how fast he would be travelling. All in all the family is very happy with the quality of the product and the convenience and speed of delivery.
