Worth every penny!!!

I saw one of these about 6 years ago and have been looking for one off and on ever since. My OTTB has been recovering from EPM and I was surprised to find that he could comfortably carry me bareback even when his back was too sensitive for my saddle. I needed a way to be comfortable since he has prominent withers and even before his topline muscle atrophied, his spine made bareback riding unrealistic, so my search for this bareback pad became urgent. I do not use it with stirrups and I appreciate the rings that allow me to use a polo breastplate to keep it from sliding backward. Even though his back is no longer sensitive, I still use it every other ride as it has played a big part in raising my game as a rider. I am grateful to Mountain Top Saddlery for carrying this item at a price that turned a luxury I wished for into an indispensable piece of tack!!!
