I wish there was a review for this before I bought it so I’ll give mine. This is possibly THE cheapest electric tie machine on the market suitable for larger jobs. I’m using it for my 10-acre cane pruned vineyard. Thoughts: it is basically like an electric version of the zenport manual green-tape tapener but with twist ties. The battery life is very good so far. There are not many settings or frills beyond number of twists but for my job it works fine. I can usually go a long time before needing to change the twist tie or battery. The tie itself is very secure, I am pleased to say. On thinner canes I sometimes have a small amount of space between the cane and wire, but the tie is pretty much always tight enough for its purpose. I can move fast with this thing, with little fatigue on my hand. Cons are: I wish it had a loop for a lanyard. I made my own harness for it so I can wear it around my neck as it is lightweight enough (still gets heavy without a padded lanyard). Other big con is that the interior gets dusty if using paper twist ties. I use a can of compressed air to maintain a clean interior. Also, the twisting rotating wheel in the front can malfunction if not cared for after lots of use. Using a long thin screwdriver plus the lubricant from the kit help a lot- otherwise, be prepared for LOTS of tie malfunction. It was frustrating before I figured this out. Besides that I have not had any big malfunctions. It’s a sturdy machine. Overall, other con is there isn’t a lot of resource material online for troubleshooting (I’ve heard Zenport maybe has customer support but idk) but the mechanism is straightforward enough that it’s manageable to use and maintain- even for a novice. For the price it has already been a very worthwhile investment in my vineyard.
