Excellent upgrade from Helicores

I finally swapped out Helicores for the T-I Visions and very glad I did. They have a much warmer sound, of course, but they're also easier to play and quicker to respond. I think the tension is probably less as well and it took my viola about a week to "relax" into these strings. I have a 16-inch viola and found that I needed to cut off the peg-end of each string by about an inch and a half to reduce overlapping in the peg box (I used wire-cutting pliers).

Warm and rich viola tone

I recently installed the Vision Viola strings on my 16" viola and I’m very pleased with the results. The tone is warm and full, especially on the C and G strings, which now sound deeper and more resonant than before. At the same time, the upper strings remain clear and easy to control. They also responded very quickly under the bow and settled in after only a short playing time.

These strings respond really well to the bow. Notes start cleanly and the sound stays focused even during faster passages. I also like how balanced the tone feels across the instrument.
