I didn't know what to think about using compression socks. As a runner, I've seen thousands of people wearing them. TBH, they look a little dorky to me. My niece is a rockstar runner and swears by them during long runs and for recovery. She convinced me to give them a try, so I ordered three pairs. She wasn't wrong. During long runs, the support they provide my feet, ankles, and calves keeps them feeling as good at 18 miles as they do at 2 miles. During recovery days, they help reduce inflammation and fatigue in my lower legs and feet. Overall, I'm impressed and surprised. They won't be my "go-to" socks for everyday or every workout, but for long runs and recovery days, they are my new favorites.
