The Carlo Lamberti violin lived up to the reviews I had read about it on SHAR's website. The 7/8 size is perfect for my frame and hand size. The violin is expressive, is easy to tune when needed, and delivers a bright sound on open notes, harmonics, .. and a smooth more subtle sound when playing 3rd position and beyond. A very good violin for advanced beginners and above. Thank you SHAR.

Fantastic 7/8 violin

This is a 7/8 violin for a student with small hands, and not only does it make playing vastly easier for the student, but it sounds as full and as nuanced as any full sized instrument; in fact, it sounds better than the full sized instrument that it replaced. This little violin is an outstanding value, and perfect for a petite student.

My daughter enjoys practicing more because of her new violin.
