You can instantly tell that this is a piece of great craftsmanship - a very well-made string. On my particular cello, which has a large, wide body and a very voluminous, colorful sound quality, the string seems to speak a little less freely than expected. Also, the overall tone characteristic is a bit on the covered side. Nevertheless, it's a high-quality string that might be best suited for a cello with a bright sonority.
