It’s very resonant, clear and brilliant but warm sounding and has a wide dynamic range, which makes it much easier to make changes in dynamics. It does take longer to stretch out than other strings- more than a week- so it can’t be put on right before a performance. But except for that this is one of the best D strings I’ve played on.
