Overall great. Just a few nitpicks
Love the tights overall. They're lightweight and have a ton of storage. 2 things I'm not thrilled about:
1. the back pocket is very unreliable. I had my phone in it for a mixed run, and it did well when I was cruising at lower speeds, but as soon as I picked up the pace, my phone started bouncing and almost fell out of the pocket. The fabric isn't tight enough and doesn't overlap enough to make it a secure place if the terrain gets rough or the pace gets quick
2. the leg openings aren't as polished as I expected. I have the Sendero shorts which are excellent quality and a solid piece of kit. But the edge on the half tights is cut a little rough and I worry about it slowly coming apart. I don't know if it's due to how thin the material is, but a seam or rolled edge of some kind would have provided some peace of mind.
Again, they're excellent shorts and I've loved using them this summer for runs when the temperature rises, I just have to be careful about using the back pocket and I always end up checking the status of the leg holes whenever I put them on.

So close to perfection
I'm both a huge fan of the Sendero shorts and half tights in general, so when these were announced I didn't hesitate to buy two pairs.
Taking these out on regular easy runs made me very confident that I would love them in races as well, but during a recent half marathon I ran into the unfortunate issue that the phone pocket has two fatal flaws. First of all it's slightly too big for most phone sizes and second of all the envelope closure is not secure enough. This means that when racing at a higher pace, the phone bounces around quite a bit and at one point it even fell out (fortunately it wasn't damaged).
If I could change anything about these shorts it would be to add the same dual back pocket design that the sender shorts have (one elastic and one zipped). I would probably also add the front pocket the Sendero shorts have. Before I got them I had no idea how nice a front pocket could feel.
Ultimately, if the back pocket is not an issue for you, these are 100% the best half tights you can get without spending four times more, but I really hope future versions iterate on the pockets a bit.

Came back for a second pair
Incredible value. Thin and comfortable yet rugged. Ample storage has often allowed me to leave the vest at home. Even with the pockets full, they stay snug. Very impressed.
I'm tempted to replace most/all of my shorts with a closet full of these...
