Nice Instrument

For a beginner a very nice instrument. The basic 'colors' of the classical guitar made famous by Segovia are basically playable on this instrument. E.g. playing near the bridge (rough or metal sound) versus playing far up on the fingerboard (clearer/softer sound). My comparison is Cordoba C5—a slightly more expensive student's guitar—and I should add that my technical abilities are limited. The basses are better than the trebles on this Cordoba Protege. (The 1st string in particular has a little less expressive range, in terms of color, as I believe someone else online has pointed out in a review video, but it's still serviceable.) Again for a beginner, definitely a serviceable instrument that you probably won't regret if you're starting out classical-style. Even for an intermediate or advanced-intermediate (such as myself) it's a fun instrument to own; I like that I can perform stretches more easily because the fingerboard is slightly smaller than my other guitars.
