First Carbon-Fiber Bow

I first discovered this different type of bow a few years ago. However, due to my budget, I declined to purchase it. Recently, I decided to get it and have seen a slight difference in the performance. Although it is slightly better than the original wood version, I see a slight difference in the overall craftsmanship of it. There has been a couple of hairs that have been more loose in the bow and it slightly effects the bows sound upon playing. I’ve only had it for about a month now, yet I still prefer it currently. I like it overall, yet I would love to see the construction of the hairs to be a bit more solid. Thank you for advising me on the selection. It is working out for me, for now.

Good strings for my outdoor gig violin

Professional musician; decided to try these affordable Alphayue strings for my outdoor "picnic" gig violin and I'm pleasantly surprised. They settled in quickly, within a couple days of breaking in, and the responsiveness and sound is close to regular Thomastik Dominants.
