A Great Lightweight Jacket

I opted for the reversable version as it gave me the option of two jackets in one. The jacket is generous in size and so I needed the medium and not a large but I only intend wearing it over a base layer thickness top. The jacket looks well made and robust enough for my needs and if I hadn't tried it I would never have believed it would fit the tiny stuff sack that comes with it. The lowest temperature I have used it in so far has been down to a wind chill of -2C along with heavy drizzle and I was as warm as toast with no wind penetration and stayed as dry as a bone and afterwards the jacket dried very quickly. If pushed to make a criticism I would like to see a slightly broader cuff band but, as they are, is no detriment to the performance of the jacket. I've only had the jacket a short while so time will tell if it will stand up to the rigour's of life. Well made, smart looking and I feel is a great value jacket. Silvermans also deserve a Gold medal. I ordered the jacket Tuesday afternoon, it arrived the next morning. I'd ordered the wrong size so posted it back on the Thursday and the replacement arrived Saturday morning. That's service!
