I’ve long admired Tanaïs perfumes and was excited to make this first perfume purchase for myself. I’ve tried one new scent each day, which lets me appreciate how each works with my body chemistry. Because so many of the perfumes have different notes and descriptive elements, the sextet is a perfect way to compare different styles and see how you like them. I’m already considering two perfumes for a full size purchase! Cannot recommend enough :)

Disappointing

I tried Cosmic, Pilgrimage and I Want You. Cosmic smells like incense: pleasant, but not for wear, may spritz the furniture with it. Pilgrimage smells woody but also like decay: maybe masculine, but also not something I enjoy. I Want You is barely perceptible on my skin, smells very herby, does not read sweet or gourmand: not bad, but not as advertised and again not a smell I like at all.
