Good clips, but consistency needs improvement

Quick delivery. Awesome! We buy a lot of clips for testing our equipment's sharpness. But we found that about 8% of the clips are faulty. The string doesn't get held properly on one side, and the string would just slip out of the fold of the metal. Unsure if the string tension plays a part in the consistency of the reading. Because that too, is not consistent. 8% is a lot of failures since that means that 1 out of 12 bags we buy would be completely faulty. We'd like to continue using the clips. But the quality control needs to be better.

All I can say is wow. I thought my knives were sharp they would cut paper with no hesitations but when I used this tester ,nope they were not sharp enough had to change how I was sharpening them and finishing them to get the sharpness I actually wanted. One of the best products I have bought for my business. Bob
