Rob is great to work with and to answer your questions. After a few weeks of use, I can tell wheels spin up faster/easier and have lower resistance to keep rolling faster/longer with onyx vesper hubs. Wheels seem to hit a wind resistance wall at higher speeds 17-21mph. Need to install a hub speed sensor because it shouldn't be attached to spokes. I don't notice wheels cushioning at all because I'm running higher/safer pressures to protect carbon rims. I damaged aluminum rims several times before mounting Berd. It's better to learn on cheap wheels before putting something nice on like Berd. Painting spokes seems to protect them from fraying and may make them more aero. Looks great. I'm still evaluating to see if I want to mess with a set of Berd with rim brakes. Truing seems to be much more involved with removing tire and I may not want to mess with on aluminum rim brakes.
