Bonnet Struts (Pair) - Suitable for use with Prado 120 Series

Easy to fit when you know how, and very efffective

So having fitted the replacement bonnet strut, I’m very impressed with performance, even leaving the bonnet up all night as a stress test. Before replacement, the best I ever got was about 30 mins. But fitting them is tricky if you do it the wrong way around. The trick is to fit to the underside of the bonnet first, then get a friend to adjust the elevation of the bonnet to align the lower stud to correct threaded hole in the frame / body work. Fitting the bottom one first may feel like a good idea, it trust me it is nothing other than an exercise in frustration - just ask me how I know. Following correct procedure turns it into a 10 minute job. Suggest that some install guide in the box would be an improvement of this otherwise excellent product.
