Beautiful in concept

This shaker is sturdy and roomy. My issue is that it takes some adjusting to be able to seal it properly before shaking. Once it’s cold, it seems even tougher to seal. It has to do with the rubber ring. Maybe it could be glued? The strainers ring stays in place.
