Blue pill for an Old truck!

After humming and hawing for so long on a tuner for my 1995 I went with the Hydra. After a simple install (taking my time 2hr) the old 7.3 roared to life with a new take on life. The PHP free box tunes make the engine idle smoother and run so much better. Limited to their “80hp” tunes my stick shift stock truck has the giddy up to get out of her own way now. It’s no race truck or speed demon but it actually feels like there’s some power behind the petal now with the PHP Hydra. On the fly switch between your choice of 15 slots is seamless. Early on you’ll be playing with it more but as time goes on and the KMs get put on you’ll find the daily, econ, or towing tunes that work best for you. The playing/switching will stop. Can’t recommend this more to anyone wanting to upgrade their old 7.3s and step them forward 15 years in a tuning perspective. Any fuel or air upgrades in the future are supported by great people offering tunes(for money $) for bigger injectors, turbos, and automatic tunes for strenuous towing. Plugging in and writing tunes to your chip is easy as cake with the program offered on Windows, or Mac! Highly highly recommended and I’ve been telling my 7.3 buddys they NEED one!
