Purchasing my wall plates to the tune of over $700 may seem like a lot of money for wallplates and switchplates, and it is, and I often scratched my head thinking I was out of my mind for spending that kind of money for something I couldn've left left as white wallplates in my newly built home, but I had a painter come in to paint the entire interior and he took of all the white wallplates. I told him he does not have to replace them because I had new brushed silver plates. Once they were all installed, OMG what a very noticeable difference they made! I'm telling you they changed the look of the interior and they look classy and clean and they definitely stand out if a positive and elegant way. So now, the $700 is a value to me for the Continental Brushed Nickel wallplates is a bargain, especially when friends, family, and neighbors come in and notice them right off the bat.
