FTO Organic Cotton Dishcloths (Cream)
As this item is quite large, heavy when wet and hard to wring out it doesn't suit my needs as a dishcloth. However, I did find another use for it. After damp dusting I use it to dry the surfaces, particularly of wood furniture. Works great in that application.

Coarse and rough when wet!
This dishcloth was pleasantly soft when it arrived and seemed promising. However, as soon as it was fully wet, the fabric felt rough and coarse. Naturally, it absorbs a lot of water, then when it’s time to squeeze out that water, there’s a heavy handful of cloth that requires serious squeezing by possibly arthritic hands. And it’s no longer so soft and pleasant to hold.
The weave is also looser than I would like, so the threads pull farther apart in use than the cotton dishcloths I currently use. Small kitchen debris easily lodges in the gaps.
These may not be huge issues, of course, but why use something that’s intrinsically flawed - and pay a premium for it besides? There are other nicer organic cotton dishcloths out there! And less expensive, too.
