I love reading about each book, its author, purpose, literary style and where it fits in history. So as I follow ‘Today in the Word’, Moody, I use my study Bible and put these notes at the beginning of each book and then add my thoughts and notes and personal applications from my devotion. It makes a complete picture of each book or passage. Love that!
