Brisk Ⅰ - Barefoot Rain Boots

I have bought my fleece lined wellies in the middle of a heatwave because they were on sale but critically BACK IN STOCK! They fit - even with thick socks - and are comfy. Sadly no puddles around to give them the full test. Let's hope I remember I have them when the bad weather sets in for my dog walks!

These boots feel like wearing slippers! I have large calves and struggle to find rain boots that fit, these boots are low enough that my calves are not a problem. I wear these with regular cotton socks and find them perfectly comfortable, but would likely want to go up a half size if wearing with thick winter socks.

These rain boots are really well made. The tread is deep and varied for great traction. They fit perfectly with a medium weight sock. The only drawback is my wide calves vs the narrow gator at the top. The gator is, like the boot, really well made. But its proportions are like that of a tube and not a cone. So, I cut into the gator to allow for my calf width.
