Black Sesame Sugar Mooncookie

Absolutely delicious! Can't get enough!

I absolutely love Annie's black sesame sugar moon cookie. The black sesame is so rich it's almost like chocolate. And the cookie is delicate and yummy. If I could eat these every day I would!

Fabulous reimagining of the moon cake as a cookie (and I might even like these a little more than the moon cake)! The black sesame filling is just right and has a pleasing "dry candy" texture (not pasty, and not hard, right where it should be).

My new favorite treat

This is my ideal cookie. It’s a subtle, but perfectly balanced salty/sweet dream. The black sesame filling-to-cookie ratio is also on point. And they are a good size. My husband and I often split one for a little after dinner treat. Thanks, Annie, for inventing my new obsession: black sesame moon cookies!
