LED Turntable Kit

This thing is so cool. And for the price, you can't beat it. It didn't fit under my turntable platter (AT LP8X), so I mounted it to the underside of the plinth and the reflection I get off the top of my wood console makes it look like fire. Can't recommend this highly enough. It's got settings with a lot of movement, and settings with barely any (which I prefer). It also comes with a remote control, so you don't have to mess with the power cable once you set it up (just need to get a size 25 watch battery for it). Love it!

This is such a fun addition to my setup. I have a clear platter, and to help diffuse the light I added a white acrylic slipmat which helps to make the entire platter glow better (instead of just seeing the row of lights shining through). The remote makes cycling through the colors easier, but you can still access around 90% of the functionality just by using the built in interface/buttons. Just an FYI, the wire is pretty thick coming from the lighting device, so you can't just expect it to sit flush anywhere to allow the dustcover to close. I had to modify the back of my table to raise the dustcover so that it wouldn't crimp the wires, and eventually cause them to be exposed and possibly short.
