Amazing product!

Poor quality---- bad smell

As I have now read in previous reviews, many boxes have this almost "mildew" scent. Also, the cards have been cut roughly and the box is filled with paper dust. The smell was our biggest concern. I contacted Sugarboo and spoke to someone and explained the problem. She said nothing about it being an issue and sent a return label. I had to repack and take it to be returned. They sent a new box which suffered from the same problems as the first box. A friend of mine has one of these boxes from six years ago and hers is pristine. Even her wooden box is nicer. This was a gift for a friend who really wanted it, so it was given with the offer to return it. She loves the concept and chose to keep it. Sadly, Sugarboo doesn't acknowledge the problems and, in sending a replacement with the same issues, makes it clear that quality is not top of mind with this company. Very disappointed.

disappointed, not as expected

I love this store and have purchased great items in the past! I had been looking into this item for a while and finally decided to purchase it. When the item finally arrived yesterday, I to instantly noticed the strong smell [which I'm hoping I can get past]. However, I am most disappointed in the color of the box itself, the pictures show almost like a white or off white color...mine is like an old dirty yellow. Had I known, I would have just gotten the black box OR just gotten the cards itself and purchased a box separately.
