Ready 22L EDC Diaper Backpack

It is a decent enough bag that has several crucial flaws that make me doubt that I will use it long term. First, I wish there were better bottle pockets inside. Right now there are two insulated bottle pockets on the outside of the bag and two regular ones on the inside. If you use the outer pockets for bottles you cant use the ones inside unless your bottles are the tall skinny type. My wifes pack is roughly the same size and she has six individual pockets. It might be overkill but its always better to have more than less, especially on longer trips. None of the pockets are waterproof. If there is a spill anywhere in your pack, it is spreading everywhere. Finally, the worst thing is the pad on the back. How in the world does a pack that retails for over $150 not have any airflow/moisture control? There are no airflow channels or mesh in the back. Just a solid foam slab. If you wear this in the summer for a while, be prepared to have a sweaty shirt. Not sure what they were thinking.

I’m a new girl dad and was on the hunt for a diaper backpack that was built, well, like a backpack - not too fashionable, not too feminine, not tacti-cool, just practical and durable. I came across the Ready 22 and liked it at first sight, so figured I’d give it a try. I’ve only used it a couple of times, but overall I am - as is the Mrs - very happy with it! The size is perfect (for baby stuff plus a new mom/dad things), the organization is great and it definitely seems well made. Two recommendations I have would be to add some loops on the outside to clip pouches on to (i.e. sunglasses cases), and to add a divider to the main compartment to better organize items so everything doesn’t just fall to the bottom. But overall, 5/5 stars! Highly recommended!
