Medio sketchbook

I have been using this for portrait practice using primarily pencil. The paper surface is smoothish and pencil works well plus blending works well. If using an eraser I have found that a putty eraser words well, to tweak areas and add tone and shade. I have also used ink which works well on the paper with no bleed through, though it was in combination with light pencil marks underneath. I have yet to use watercolour paint or pencils but suspect would handle a light wash of colour. The medio size sketchbook is great for using when on say a lap tray or held in hand or if you want to draw en plein as. Would fit in average size bag. The main reason I decided to try these sketchbooks is the use of recycled coffee cups and was intrigued how they would be and so far work ok for what I need as a develop my drawing habit.
