This backpack looked like a lot of fun, but I think there are several areas that could be improved. I’m not a particularly large person, yet the backpack still felt too small for my back. After wearing it for only about 10 minutes, I started experiencing back pain. Even with the straps tightened as much as possible, the backpack tended to pull backward, which made it difficult for my dog to shift his weight forward and comfortably rest his paws on my back. I also found the neck support strap to be awkward and uncomfortable. It didn’t seem to provide much support for my dog. I purchased this backpack after reading many positive reviews, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I also hope the price comes down in the future. As it stands, it’s difficult to justify the premium price for a backpack that still has several design issues to work through. I hope the product continues to improve because the idea behind it is great. If it becomes more comfortable, functional, and affordable, I’d love to see more people using it. Anything that helps dogs spend more quality time with their owners is something I’d like to support.

Bella, my miniature dachshund, loves this bag. I had a different dog backpack, which was much heavier, and this one suits my needs better due to its construction and lighter weight materials. In the other bag, she was only able to see out one side of my body, but with this bag, she can look both ways or over my shoulder when we’re riding the bicycle. She does not like the tail port. So we keep her tail curled up next to her inside the back. She also doesn’t like the neck strap so we flipped that to the other side as well. Bella is around 10-11 pounds.

Works great, my guy road in for an hour walk and seemed comfortable the whole time. I didn’t feel him squirming or wiggling to get comfortable once he was up and on back. He seemed to enjoy looking around from up high. We take it on family walks for just in case. When he gets tired he gets a ride.
