This is my 4th Situ light. This is my first with the new technology that allows you to change the color temperature. Very cool. It shows off our painting!

Light for a difficult application

This is for the 56" plugin Vision Series with variable color temperature. The painting is 72" wide and 48" high. It is white top and bottom and very abstract so lots of contrast. The work is in a dim area of my house. The light is great near the top and good near the bottom. The illumination on the sides is quite low for about 6" in width on each side and increasingly wider near the bottom.If Situ had a light about 72" wide it would be better for my application. By the way, the horizontal bar is thinner than it appears in the Situ advertising material. It is a square cross section of about a 1/2" for the length you choose. Installation is easy for those who can use a screwdriver and tape measure. The company is extreme helpful and working with them is very easy. Overall, the light is not quite perfect but is really good. I'd buy it again. And I recommend Situ for their great service.
