I am 58 years old. I had an accident a few years ago. It used to take me 4 hours to thoroughly clean a three story house and basement, all by myself. Now, I’m lucky if I might clean my bedside area in those 6 hours. My calves and thighs were tight and as firm as a 25 years old from running up and down stairs, dancing and walking with my 6’ husband (I’m 5’3 so…2 steps for everyone of his). Now my legs are slowly loosening and swinging. This cream made my skin feel soft and smooth and the formals smells quite pretty but, I saw nor expected nor experienced any lifetime reversing results. All your lines and scars, piercings and tattoos are life affirming. You can change yourself in anyway but, never from a moisturiser on Insta! While moisturising is always important to your skin, there will be no miracle cure from a jar for many decades, generations, if ever! If there was, then the average woman would never be able to afford it. It’s just aging, inactivity and something you must learn to live with. Having a career in certain structures and an extreme love of reading, I do know that Harvard (Yale? Purdue?) researchers concluded that, after years of study hundreds or more moisturisers concluded, ‘that you might as well rub a stick of lard on your face’. It’s okay! Love who you are. Thats not up to your partner, that’s up to you! People ask me how do I look in my mid-late 40s, while my husband looks much older than his 58 years. I would love to tell them the truth, family genes but, that’s just cruel. Yet, family genes and a pair of jeans and a confident smile. These are the only things between me and the signs of true ageing and responsible Botox, etc. It just depends on how much one is willing to spend. Me? I’m saving for my turkey neck lift when I’m 88, like when my Mother had hers. Until then, the only real question is, how pretty is the jar? 2-3 stars
