Simple yet work well

Tried mounting a 45 North Wrathchild on the carbon Big Deal rims without the bands. None of the usual tricks worked. Threw one of these on each side of the rim and it worked like a charm. Only needed to use them on one wheel even though the same type of tire was going on the both front and rear. These get installed after the tire is on the rim, before trying to seat it. Which means I will need to remember to take them out before trying to remove the tire from the rim. This will be easy enough to do: deflate the tire, get the tire unseated, this gives access to the bands, remove the bands, then remove the tire. The tire is not coming off without taking these out first.
