Tall Hiker Friendly
6'5" hiker here, confirming this tent is fantastic for taller hikers! This tent is the fastest pitching tent I've ever owned, and if you roll it up from the foot end to the head end you can quickly and repeatably guy out and set up in no time. Many other tents have to be laid out, color coded, or otherwise tested before orientation can be confirmed. I'm using the aluminum poles to go with it, and once you set it up a couple times you get the "swing" of the pole so it doesn't hang up setting into position. You can set up both poles from one side of the tent, which again, is super fast and handy. The ONLY negative I can see is that because the walls aren't vertical you lose some of the useable vestibule space for shoes and backpack if it DOES start to rain/snow. If you're a smaller hiker, that stuff could probably go in the head-space no problem. I did experience rain on a recent trip and the tent held up VERY well to the wind, and there was ZERO moisture ingress from any of the seams or being blown or splashed back into the tent.
