Perfect? Yes.

Absolutely thrilled with my Rev Rack tent purchase. And I'm happy to give it five stars and fully endorse and recommend it. Here were my purchase criteria: I purposely wanted to avoid a traditional roof-top tent. And by traditional, I mean a heavy aluminum shell or plastic shell. I don't have the storage space, and I didn't want to drive with one mounted. I just wanted a good tent for use when actually going on a camping trip or an outdoor adventure. So it was critical that I could find a tent that was easy to mount to the roof rack and to take down. For the record, I have a 2014 Lexus GX 460 with a Prinsu roof rack. So finding something compatible with my existing rack was obviously important. The next part of my criteria was to find something comfortable. I can confirm that the Rev Tent has a very comfortable mattress. From all of my research, it's thicker than all others. I was initially concerned how this would perform on my Prinsu roof rack. The two bottom-most foam inserts are quite dense and eliminate the gaps between the roof rack bars. The top-most foam inserts provide plenty of cushion and comfort. Next on my criteria list was a buy it for life high-quality intent. I'm the type of consumer that would rather spend a bit more to get a quality product that won't end up in a landfill. I'm impressed with the overall construction, design, and quality. While I haven't tested in rain or snow conditions, I have zero concerns about water proofness. No doubt this tent is built to last. Okay, probably the most important criteria was to find a tent that would accommodate my height. I'm 6'3"And most of the rooftop tents that I researched would be too small to accommodate my size. The Rev Tent is perfect. I'm also impressed with the pre-purchase process. I reached out with some questions to the C6 team and got fast and friendly responses. So if your criteria match mine, rest assured that the Rev Tent is awesome! I rate it as perfect. I can't find a thing to complain about or to improve upon. The bottom line is, it's well made with quality materials and construction. It has a thoughtful design. It's lightweight and compact, which makes it easy to mount to a roof rack or even put on the ground if you prefer to sleep traditionally. 10/10 would recommend.

This is the most versatile and easy to use roof tent I have used. Love that you can mount and unmount with one person and set up on ground. Highly flexible compared to other over built options out there.
