Raptor 14ft Tandem | Fin & Prop Drive | Modular Fishing Kayak

Love this kayak! My hubby and I tried it out and everything worked great. The fin pedal drive was so nice to not have worn out arms. We have the 14ft. and the three modular pieces fit in my small SUV, Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. We had no problem assembling at launch site and had so much fun!

Dream Come True

For years I have daydreamed about owning a kayak. I imagined cruising the lake edges and rivers, fishing, breathing in the outdoors. But it’s always been unattainable, either too expensive to make the purchase or unwieldy to haul around. But then I found ReelYaks. This modular tandem Raptor kayak has been a dream come true. As a single kayak, the pieces are remarkably lightweight. They join together incredibly easily. I’m on the water within 10 minutes of having parked the truck. Both halves fit perfectly in the back of my five-foot truck bed. The extra section that creates the tandem kayak is a bit heavier, but I can still handle it by myself. Build the tandem by the water because it is very heavy to move even with two people. The pedal propeller has been great. It is annoying to get out of the boat when in shallow water or weeds as you can never seem to get the joke and find aligned, but the control, power, and speed it provides on the water are worth it. The accessories, the build quality, the whole experience in owning this kayak has been amazing.

We are beyond satisfied with our purchase of the 14ft Tandem/Solo Raptor pedal drive kayak. We have had the opportunity to experience it on both calm canal waters and busy bay waters here in the FL panhandle and it is incredibly stable as well as comfortable. It is so convenient to transport and the time between unload and set up to on the water is so quick! We can’t say enough to express how happy we are with our Reel Yak purchase.
