This is an AB switch with the A or B inputs going to the output. There is a volume pot for the A input, which comes in handy when you have two guitars that you use on the same amp, but one has a hotter signal than the other.

This pedal lets you lower the level on the louder guitar so both signals will be the same level going to the amp.

Couldn’t be happier with this pedal, convenient size, simple to operate, clear display, works perfectly to send passive/active basses into the rest of my pedal board and match the levels first. Looks excellent in black with white lettering.
