Upgrade from SwitchBot 2

Stronger motor is noticeable. Closing with the magnet is also nicer than the old dead-reckoning. Only question is about the rail hooks - the old hooks had metal wheels, these are plastic. Old ones survived 4+ years of daily operation with a few scratches, and now service another set of curtains. I hope the plastic ones can last as long.

No more batteries

This is a great product. It really just works. Installation was easy, and now it’s doing its thing, and I don’t have to think about charging again, plus it’s all solar, so eco-friendly.
