I don’t know why I waffled for so long before buying them. Got these in Blush and they are absolutely amazing. 100% comfortable right out of the box. The quality is unbelievable - they are actually worth the investment. The price is not just for a brand name it’s for superior craftsmanship. They’re definitely funky and not necessarily everyone’s vibe but if you find yourself coming back to these I’m telling you you won’t be disappointed. I’m an 8 in most sandals/heels and an 8.5 in sneakers, 39 in birks, and I got the 39 and they fit perfectly. Didn’t even realize they were Velcro which is even better bc they’re so easy to put on. Currently day 2 of having them and I sped walked and biked in them on my commute and they’re more comfortable than my sneakers. No arch pain. no shin pain. No pinching. They look amazing with everything - dressed up or down. I’m a convert. I’ve officially joined the Labucq cult. Will probably be buying the boots I’ve been eyeing this winter!

Better than I expected.

I had been eyeing these shoes for a while and finally bought them once they went on sale this summer. I've been admittedly skeptical of the chunky shoe look (that's the millennial in me) but was looking for something that could be both comfortable and stylish (that's the mom-of-3 in me) for at least a couple of years, given the price tag. After a mild break-in period I am smitten. Am I nuts or do my legs look miles long?? Love that these make me feel simultaneously (peripherally) cool and completely no-nonsense. Well done Labucq!
