The printed product was listed as being hardcover but it is actually softcover. Otherwise, I thought the story, text and layout was well done.

Dedication to craft and aesthetic rarely found elsewhere

Archon has occupied a niche that is largely ignored in the game industry. It exists in dark fantasy and is totally dedicated to its style, leaving the 4th wall largely unbroken. Illustrations, maps, box designs and aesthetic is immersive, without random colors or info badges on any box, item, or component. Amazingly, the rules writing achieves the same idea, and rather than presenting mechanical or generic text, it stays in character. it is immediately clear how much thought is put into Archon's work, making their RPG modules (and board games) accessible but highly immersive. 5/5

Just Great

I just got the boxed set, and am very impressed. The artwork and quality of the material is excellent. I have only skimmed the adventure but is well written and I look forward to running it for my group.
