Calacatta Shower stall installtion
Its back to the 70's when these panels were first invented. (ex Lic builder Ret). They worked well then and re-imagined with updated products are easier then ever to install.
I received my Callacatta delivery after a small delay caused by the US Iran conflict. The product arrived to the south coast NSW undamaged and protected from the weather.
The panels are of good quality, but care must be taken in the dry fitting where 90% of the time is required. Care in allowing extra wiggle room space to fit into the edge caps and corner casings to out of plumb (level) walls is a key to success or failure. Not desirable to glue end caps and then try to bow the panels over shower or tap extensions. Note:1 I dry fitted to the height of the existing tiles and left a 10mm over height to account for the fitting to the fall in the tiles. Note2; if your a novice i would recommend a joiner to install.
Pre prep. there was about a day of fitting and about two hours of glue and installation. I pre prepped the 40 year old tiles with Sugar soap and the supplied glue bonded like concrete. the project aint up to a Home beautiful standard but when you have to work with a 40 year old house where every wall and florr is out of plumb and level i think the wall panels are a fantastic product to bring a hotel style appearance to an old room.

Ambulant Bathroom
Had to modify my fathers existing bathroom to be more user friendly based on his disability . I had to complete project quickly and cost effective so had to carry out majority of work myself (less plumbing). I have never tiled before so I wanted to keep tiling to a minimal. Hence just tiled Floor and used Bathroom wall panels . I was able to complete job on time with minimal fuss despite a lot of out of square walls . While the Panels look great no doubt they reduced my workload or the need to hire a tiler.
