Daddario NYXL1149 Strings Medium 11-49

D’Addario 'NYXL': A Chronic String-Breaker’s Saviour…

I've had a few years of having many guitar strings break for some reason, and having spent to have the saddles and guitars tweaked it was still a problem when just about as I was to give up, I came across D'Addario NYXL strings... Months Later now, and not a single string have I broken. They stay in tune fabulously, offer a Superb tone, and to the point where I’m almost Tempted to push them harder again just to see if I Can break them. I will change them now, but I was trying to see how long they’d go. I’ve restrung all guitars and can say Categorically, these are my strings of choice versus another brand name I'd been using for forty-years or more. And Never have I had the “Confidence” to play as I do now, having had it shattered by those constant breakages where I became scared to hit the D or G strings. I’ve made a point of putting out this review, because it’s been a Life-Saver for me, and I’m soon to step forward to play live, and I’d like to share this with anybody else who keeps breaking strings who having tried all else, still can’t solve the problem. Of Note: That said, I did replace all bridges with Roller Bridges plus these strings in gauge 11-49, and it's worked a treat. So, these May just do the job… Now, if you could make these to the same specification in Gold to match my hardware and black finish, that would be Guitar Nirvana, even though I know it's a little greedy… The seller supplied these at the most competitive price and delivered them efficiently.
