Ford Ranger Center Console Safe: 2019-2023

Great safe

I wanted a way to secure a firearm in my truck and not just leave it in the glovebox. This safe does that and more. I will also be able to lock up other valuables as well. It fits perfectly in my center console. The installation was mostly smooth, except for the hinged plate. It was confusing for where it was to be located inside (not like the picture) and which way it went in, as the side pieces were angled, and the sticker on mine was not like the picture. This could just be me though :) I got it in, right or wrong, and it works great. I feel confident things are secure.

Easy to install

It for my 2019 Ford ranger front console perfectly. It’s nice not to have clean out my truck everytime I have to get it serviced. Love it

Great little Vault

This definitely adds a small level of security and piece of mind. Its not gonna keep out a professional thief but news flash: No safe will! Its a deterrent against smash and grabs and and helps keep guns and valuables from being easily accessed. The elite lock is a must and should have come with it standard in my opinion, which leads me to my 4 star rating. I do think its a bit overpriced for what it is especially in a small console like my Ranger. Its a small steel door and some metal folding sides. It should be $200 not $400. Maybe offer a big discount on a second purchase for multiple vehicles or something. That would help bring buyers in who are cringing at the price. Just an idea. Having said that its easy to install, built well and its a great addition to my truck.
