Queen Allium

Queen Allium like all FWP inks comes in eye-catching packaging. The boxes have whimsical illustrations that echo the colour of the ink. The ink itself is a delicate mauve with a magical golden sheen that works (surprisingly) well through a fine nib. Remember to give the ink a good shake before sucking it up into the converter, and agitate your pen gently before writing in order to get the most from your ink. These fairy-tale pastels lend an otherworldly air to my journals and Writer's Diary. I'm just going to go and buy a few more...

Beautiful ink but not suitable for the fountain pens.

Lavender and gold

Purple and gold are such a good combo, regardless of the shade of purple. This purple is a pink-leaning lavender, not too pastel, not too dark to not read as purple with finer nib sizes. The gold tonally matches the purple, so it just shimmers a lovely brassy gold as you tilt the page. Very pretty, but not a unique shade of ink in my collection.
