Hushkin

Most lavenders are too herbal/aromatic for me, but Mythpunk has magically conjured a lavender which is the most refined and elegant, almost edible, lavender I've encountered. I love both Hushkin and Dozykin; for me, Hushkin's lavender is perfectly set off with the vanilla/marshmallow/sandalwood cream. Soothing and happy!

Hushkin is as lovely as Dozykin. They are the best lavenders i have put my nose on. Ashe was kind enough to upsize my trinket to a bauble which was incredibly thoughtful.

Gorgeous, but like a certain pretty ex boyfriend, we don’t get along

So i appreciate this but it’s not for me. I’m very selective about lavender so it’s not surprising. I feel like i can sniff out all the notes except maybe the violet petals, and i love the prominence of marshmallow and how the cocoa is subtle (chocolate notes are usually a hard no for me). Unfortunately my personal issue with this beautiful little scent is that it makes my mouth feel weird. I’m not tasting it, i swear. it’s not an allergic reaction, i get it just thinking about this scent, and it fades instantly. (this is not haunting me or anything, it’s not distressing, i just don’t vibe with it for that reason.) If you’re a lavender person please don’t let me deter you from trying it. I think my brain is just doing mysterious things here. I loooove the rest of the scent! Note: this scent needed 1-2 weeks (i can’t recall honestly) before it fully developed. After that I could smell the nuances.
