going from garmin and Wahoo ( had to open unit to change battery and door eventually failed) this unit is great price,,,rechargeable,,,del feedback ,,connected with Garmin edge 530 and Rouvy with my SB-20 intelligent bike

A solid product

I bought the H9Z to use it with Suunto Race 2 and it connects perfectly. I am able to use Suunto's ZoneSense feature. From using it a few times already, including at a full trail marathon, I can say it's very comfortable and I've experienced no chafing. Battery life seems to be quite ok, and I like that it has a charger. I am still a bit confused around the auto on/off feature (still looking for a button to press), but is seems to be working just fine.

Not working after a month

This is a update to a previous review. After a bit over a month of use HRM began to have problems waking up consistently by using index fingers on each pad after applying gel. One session on smart trainer started out fine, but after 15 mins. the HR reading keep increasing with little effort. Battery level was at 82%. Switch to my old HRM and reading was correct. With all the inconsistent functioning I went back to old HRM full time. Long term reliability not good.
