Kids Murder Mystery Game Kit - Mystery At The Museum

We had a fantastic time with this mystery party game! The kids were fully engaged and had a total blast trying to solve the case. One thing to note for future buyers is that there is quite a bit of reading involved, so it helps to have players who are comfortable reading or a host willing to assist younger kids. If I could suggest one improvement for the creator, it would be to add a bit more interactivity—such as clues that need to be physically acted out, or specific clues hidden around the room that directly reveal details about the thief. Overall, it made for a really fun party activity, and I’d definitely recommend it!

Everything was great! I had purchased a different one of your games prior to this purchase and this one did not disappoint! I have been so pleased with the creativity and organization that went into your product. Everyone loved it...again!

I was very disappointed. It seemed very poorly put together for many reasons. First, the clues the characters find don’t help solve the mystery. At the end when you guess the thief, everyone is just randomly guessing. The clues do not point to anyone in particular. Also, the majority of the game is the kids sitting and just reading premade scripts to each other. Third, it is supposed to a printable download. It was full page, solid color pages that you would never want to print. I had to do major work myself to have something I could print for the kids. Also, the plot with museum director didn’t make sense. Who is he even talking to - the wax figures or the towns people? The wax figures are the party guests, so we had to somehow get the wand stolen at the beginning of our party….We ended up eliminating the audio portions just to make the plot make sense to our ‘wax figure’ party guests. (And the audio files were the only ‘cool’ addition that came with the game). It was a huge amount of work figuring it out and very disappointing for the amount of money/time.
