This is a great item...as I'm rubbish at soldering this really worked well for me...very easy to install.....I can feel the difference in the pots....and my guitar definitely sounds a bit brighter.....very well put together with quality parts...Great upgrade .....arrived the day after ordering....Great service from Northwest Guitars.

Faulty, expensive and time consuming upgrade!!!!

I ordered this prewired harness as a neat and easy to install upgrade but after installing, I found it to be faulty with only one tone control working. Northwest requested photos, so I stripped the guitar again and emailed some over. Then I was told that they couldn't determine the issue from the photos and that I would have to disassemble the harness from the guitar and send it back for repair or replacement. Stripping the guitar a third time and waiting for the replacement was not really a workable an option for me, so I ended up fixing it myself. A new set of strings that had been fitted to the guitar were ruined in the process of dismantling and re-assembling the instrument three times. I'm very disappointed with Northwest Guitars. The cost of the wired harness is way more expensive that that of the individual components, and yet I still ended up having to re-solder the components myself to get them working just as if they were individual components. Despite making NWG aware of this fact, I was never offered any compensation except for a set of replacement strings. All in all a very expensive and time consuming upgrade, leaving the customer very disappointed!!
