I love the merino/silk yarn though it seems a bit thinner than most worsted weight I've worked with.

The stitch definition in this yarn is gorgeous! So soft with a beautiful shine, highly recommend!

Worsted 75/25 merino silk blend is an amazing yarn. It takes dye really well and crochets nicely as well. In the hank, this yarn does not look like a worsted weight, but once the hank is washed, dyed, and balled, the yarn expands to a nice DK/light worsted yarn(12-14 wpi). I really can't say how happy I am to find a good wool silk blend and that it is in the worsted range. One hank is sufficient to crochet a skinny scarf (4-5 inches wide, 50-60 inches long) with fringe.
I am a big fan of worsted weight natural and semi-natural fibers (Tencel, Lycocel, bamboo silk). Acrylic and nylon are my bane.
Caveats: Larger diameter hanks, greater length hanks, or option for a large cone would be desirable.
Cautions: Use outside pull if you use a baller. A small price for how nice this yarn feels and handles. This yarn does not play well as an inside pull; yarn barf everywhere and constantly.
