Gear Case Shim Kit

I finally got the kit later than expected (no thanks to USPS who left it in a warehouse) after Ben’s sent a new order UPS (thank you!). The springs were great and went in easy. The sleeve went in nicely, but the new metal hub didn’t fit down all the way onto the tub mounting base, but I did tighten it down enough, I hope. Thanks for getting the reorder to me. I’m back up and washing.

Fixed but, only to return this week

I followed the videos and installed the parts but, this week the problem came back even worse than before.

MUST HAVE SHIM!!!

I am an amateur repairman…I Youtube repairs and if it looks viable, I give it a shot. This job took a little more patience than most, but at the last second, after three days of attempting to remove the oscillator, I finally got it removed to find that if I had not ordered the shims, all the work and money I put into new parts would have been in vain. The shims steadied and centered the basket. It runs perfectly.
