I'm a middle aged dad and wanted to get a Super to go out with my son and help him learn safety in the city. I test rode a few models but landed on the Brooklyn for its full suspension. It's comfortable, fast, and maneuverable. Great purchase!

I love it! Even without its extra MPH.

After 100 miles I think I can offer some decent feedback on the R-Brooklyn. 1- the rear shock is pretty stiff, nothing to write home about, especially after sitting on the Fox Float3EVOL… leaves a lot to be desired. 2- Tektro Dorado brakes are pretty decent. Nothing compared to the Maguras but they stop the Nike well enough. 3- the seat is pretty uncomfortable. But it looks cool. Style points… so I let it slide. 4- 20 MPH limit!!! Painful, absolutely painful when you get up to 18-19MPH and you can feel the bike has an “extra gear”. It wants to go 25-30 MPH easily. How is there not a way that 18yr and older riders can enable the upper class to open up the MPH capability. That was super disappointing. Wish it had those 2-3 special components that would make it epic. But the truth is I LOVE IT… I still love taking it out for rides and hanging out with the squad+family. I can’t wait to make it my own… I love that we have so options to choose from in the after marketplace! Plus, I absolutely love the super73 squad at my local head quarters in San Clemente.
